About the role
As a casual Technical Events Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events by handling all technical aspects. Your expertise in the installation, maintenance and operation of audio/visual equipment including sound, stage lighting and theatrical equipment will help us deliver seamless experiences for our clients and attendees.
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the technical operations and resources of the facilities whilst ensuring the highest possible standard of presentation to the public, hirers and participants through assisting both professional and community hirers and users to produce a variety of events.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and technical experience in delivering Sound/AV and lighting services; including equipment operation and maintenance
- Industry recognised Entertainment certification or relevant experience
- Proven delivery of high quality customer service to meet production requirements in high-pressure situations
- Demonstrated experience in rigging, patching and operating of lighting and video equipment
- Demonstrated experience in Production Management and technical planning
- Effective communication and proven ability to work as a team supervisor or part of a team
- Can work with minimal supervision
- Available to work flexible hours particularly on weekends and weekday evenings
