Mandylights is seeking to engage technicians in both casual and contracted roles to assist in project delivery over several busy months. We are seeking early entry and mid-level technicians, people who are familiar with live events, pre-production, on-site delivery and working as part of a team to help us successfully deliver a wide range of projects in 2021. Specific responsibilities outlined below:
Position Description
The role is designed to assist in the execution of all applicable tasks relating to the production and technical aspects of the company’s projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager or Production Coordinator, the Technician will work with Mandylights’ staff to execute technical and production tasks with autonomy for the preparation, installation and successful operation of projects and their lighting elements.
This role offers a unique mix of technical and creative engagement. Training and supervision will be provided to assist in this development.
General responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
– Assistance with and maintenance of technical plans for technical aspects of company projects
– Following plans and directions to execute technical preparation, installation, operation, and removal both in the warehouse and on-site
– Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment, or on-site assisting with the management and installation of technical aspects of projects
– Other ad hoc duties as required
Position requirements:
– A valid passport and no history of immigration refusal to any country
– A clean criminal record
– A valid Australian driver’s licence
