The Building & Theatre Technician is primarily responsible for the provision of audiovisual management and support for the theatre, staff and hirers. The position will also ensure that the facility’s building infrastructure, plant and equipment is maintained through regular maintenance and the management of service agreements. This position is charged with the safe and effective use of specialist theatre equipment and ensuring all compliance and WH&S requirements are adhered to.
You will have demonstrated technical experience in an arts organisation to present live performance activities including theatre, dance, music and conferences for a range of spaces and clients. Experience in coordinating and planning venue / facility maintenance programs and experience in supervising technical staff.
Salary: commencing at $2794.24 gross per fortnight.
