Big Picture for Justin Bieber

The 17 year old Canadian prince of Pop has recently toured main Australian Arenas with his ‘My World’ tour. The “Bieber-Fever” affected thousands of his teenage fans, which were desperate to see Justin’s impressive performance live. Opening his shows with “Love me”, crowds were going mental with the vibe and electricity going through the roof throughout the entire show at every concert.

Big Picture, one of the biggest Australian and New Zealand production companies providing video solutions, were appointed to provide the video systems for the tour. They worked closely with tour director Tom Marzullo, who kept a critical eye across all aspects of the production to deliver fans with perfect shows.

Six huge columns of VuePix P18 LED Mesh screens, consisting of 120 VuePix panels in total, were installed,  3 on each side of the stage flanking the centre screen.  Each screen was hung from fly bars suspended below the truss, with screen content running from the Catalyst media server.

Jon Bonanno from Big Picture comments: “The production team of Justin Bieber was very happy with the video systems used and the result they delivered. This was the first time they had used the combination of Hi and Mid resolution screens across the stage and they commented it was their most dynamic video look so far”.

Performing in front of a sell-out audience in all Australia, Justin Bieber proved his unique skills and versatility as an artist. Whether through his singing, dancing or overall performance, he gave fans exactly what they were after with screams and yells so loud and constant that the arenas were shaking at the cores.
