Barco has developed the C7, a 7mm tile for use in a multitude of display applications where image quality is critical. With 2,000 nits calibrated brightness and 7mm LED pitch, the C7 is suited for presenting sharp, sophisticated imagery for high-end events and stage performances, dynamic architectural lobbies, indoor branding and advertising, and entertainment venues.
The C7 offers an exceptionally wide view, with 140-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. An environmentally friendly display, the C7 features low power consumption — less than half the power use of competing products — and light weight, for a significant utility cost savings. The C7 tile incorporates all the benefits of the C-series range including fanless operation, simple connectivity with a unified power/data connector, and integrated rigging with built-in curve capabilities. It’s also simple to install and service.
“We’re excited to offer our customers this new addition to our Elements product line. The C7 provides a low-power, high-impact way for our customers to showcase their brands, art and entertainment in their best light for an economical price, without sacrificing quality,” commented Jeremy Hochman, director of product management for Barco.
Although commercially available on April 1 the C7 will debut at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), Europe’s premier show for professional AV and electronic systems integration, February 1-3, 2011 in Amsterdam.
