At the upcoming Prolight+Sound Show in Frankfurt, French luminaire manufacturer Ayrton will be releasing the NandoBeam S6, big brother to the NandoBeam S3. Twice as powerful as its S3 sibling, the NandoBeam S6 is a compact, fast-moving head. Equipped with 37 RGBW LED emitters, NandoBeam S6 shares the S3’s same lightweight optical system and fast 5:1 zoom.
Designed primarily for use on concert stages and in television production, NandoBeam S6 exhibits dynamic movement together with a saturated colour palette and a 8° to 40° beam range. The optical system is composed of a single lightweight polycarbonate front lens which helps to give the fixture its speed of movement.
The S6 offers a range of visual effects, with the 37 embedded Osram Ostar RGBW LED emitters, arranged in four “crowns” and independently controlled in semi-ring sections of six emitters. Heat management is handled via an active heat-pipe cooling system.
The fixture is controllable via DMX, RDM and Art-Net and also an on-board LumenRadio wireless DMX/RDM receiver as standard.
The NandoBeam S6 features:
- 37 multi-chip RGBW 15W sources
- Virtual colour wheel, including most common white colour temperature preset
- Zoom: 8° to 40°
- Single front lens
- Advanced cooling system based on heatpipe technology
- Selected ventilation user mode
- RJ45 input/output for ArtNet
- DMX5 input/output for DMX and RDM
