Avid has announced, in response to input from users, that its Pro Tools Flex subscription offering for professional audio post and music production facilities has been renamed Pro Tools Ultimate.
Pro Tools Ultimate retains all of the capabilities and is now available at a reduced subscription price of US$599 annually. It provides users with sound for picture workflows, HDX and HD Native system support, and high performance for more challenging and complex projects. Pricing has not changed for monthly licenses at US$99 nor for one-year educational licenses at US$299.
