Sydney-based Audio Visual Events has invested in the purchase of four Martin MAC 301 Wash™ LED moving head fixtures with both a powerfully fast zoom and impressive zoom range. Capable of producing a wide range of exceptional colours from rich saturated shades to pastels through the entire zoom range, AVE’s MAC 301 Washes™ will be used mainly for corporate work.
“I particularly like their size and weight,” commented Daniel Bergan, AVE’s manager. “They are also very bright which is great because it means you can use less lighting to get what you want.”
Daniel had the difficult decision of deciding whether to purchase MAC700’s or the MAC 301 Washes™ opting with the MAC301’s mainly due to the pricing.
“If the MAC 301 Wash™ were a little bit cheaper we’d buy some more!” he hinted. “However they are still half the price of a MAC700.
“Our guys think the MAC 301 Washes™ are awesome. They’ve also been sub-hired a few times and the general comment from the clients is always man, we’ve got to buy some of these!”
Daniel reports that clients love the small road case size which house up to four MAC 301 Washes™ meaning the smaller players with vans can take what they need without needing a truck and three extra guys to help lift the gear.
“People are coming back absolutely raving about the MAC 301 Wash™,” he concluded.
