About the role:
The events industry is getting back to business and ICC Sydney is looking for talented, motivated casual staging crew to join our dedicated AV team. Staging experience not necessary but advantageous.
At ICC Sydney you will be working across the entire site which includes three theatres, two ballrooms, over 50 meeting rooms and over 35,000sqm of exhibition floor space. With the latest equipment and some great spaces to work in – no two days are the same!
About your experience:
The key to your success will be your ability to be a team player and most importantly understand the importance of show craft in a professional and fast-paced environment. If you would like the opportunity to work in the following areas we would like to hear from you:
- Building small to concert sized stages and dancefloors
- Installing floor mounted and rigged drapes
- Follow spot operator
- Assisting the Rigging department to build truss and install rigged elements (Rigging ticket and experience advantageous but not mandatory)
- Assisting in any of the following areas outside of Staging including Audio, Vision, Lighting and Rigging
- Forklift licence would be advantageous but not mandatory
