Salary: AUD 47,248.00 – 53,515.00 per annum plus Superannuation and penalty rates

Join our vibrant Venue Management team and be a crucial part of delivering exceptional technical services to our clients and hirers. As an AV Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-end technical production service delivery for events held in the Sydney Town Hall and other City of Sydney commercial venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert audio, lighting, and vision services for concerts and events, coordinating resources and individuals to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage and prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods and interruptions to meet deadlines.
- Set up, operate, and pack down audio, vision, and lighting systems for events, conferences, and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial, and Work Health and Safety requirements in all duties performed.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years of professional technical experience in live production, corporate, or events industry.
- Proficiency in live audio mixing, vision systems operation, and/or lighting operation for events.
- Experience in live streaming of events and proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Qlab.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
- Aptitude for quick thinking and problem-solving of technical issues in a high-pressure environment.
- Agility and ability to undertake physical work, including working at heights and in confined spaces if necessary.
- Availability to work within a flexible 24-hour, 7-day roster within the Venue Management Unit.
