2020 marks 20 years since Trevor Connell started publishing Australasian Special Events and to mark that milestone he had intended to do a series of articles and interviews looking at the history of the Australian event industry.
In March, everything changed! So he had a rethink and decided to focus on the people in our industry.
“Over my 40+ years in the industry, I have met a great many people and have heard many stories,” commented Trevor. “So I decided to get online and have a chat with these people and get them to share their story with you.
“We may be practising physical distancing, but rather than being stuck in social isolation, each week I’m chatting with someone who has made a career in our event industry and asking them to share their story.”
