About Focus Audiovisual

We are a rapidly growing audiovisual integrator based in Perth, Western Australia. We particularly specialise in video conferencing, meeting spaces, training facilities, auditoriums, large scale LED screens, digital signage and PA systems.

Founded in early 2017 by two people with a clear vision and driven by customer satisfaction. We’ve quickly grown to a team of 10 and become a leading market competitor and a chosen audiovisual integration partner for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across WA and Victoria.

Some of our work you might have seen includes the RAC Arena LED screen and TAB at Optus Stadium.

The role

An opportunity is available for an audiovisual technical mastermind to join our close-knit team. You’ll be:

  • Installing and commissioning professional audiovisual systems
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining existing systems
  • Lead a small team to complete jobs
  • Reading and understanding detailed schematics and drawings
  • Building and cabling equipment racks
  • Running, terminating and testing cabling
  • Completing documentation for project handovers
  • Liaising with clients
  • Well presented and have excellent people skills

Our projects are primarily located in the Perth metropolitan area – however interstate and regional travel will be occasionally required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

You’ll need:

  • Experience with audiovisual equipment, cabling, terminations, hand and power tools and rack building
  • The ability to understand and interpret audiovisual schematics and drawings
  • An understanding of video conferencing systems
  • Time management and people management skills
  • Basic networking skills
  • Proven problem-solving capability
  • The ability to work under pressure and to strict timelines
  • Attention to detail
  • A valid drivers license
