Kedron Wavell currently operates seven different function rooms at any one time with a variety of different clientele including live entertainment as well as corporate events.
As an Event and AV technician your role will include:
- Ensuring all sound and lighting requirements for clients are ready and operational
- Operating sound and lighting equipment specific to the function or live entertainment,
- Liaising with clients on site about their sound and lighting requirements
- Having knowledge of and the ability to operate and program lighting equipment in a corporate and live event or concert environment
- Previous maintenance experience, an eye for detail and the ability to find and fix faults with audio visual equipment.
- Assisting with the bump-in and bump out of equipment for concerts and corporate events. This includes loading and unloading of vehicles as directed.
To be successful you will also demonstrate the following:
- Operation of equipment for concerts and functions
- Carrying out of maintenance tasks
- Assisting stage managers with equipment and sound and lighting checks
- A flexibility to work between live events and corporate events
- The ability to work under time constraints and in pressure situations
