Audio Visual Technician

MAV is an audio visual provider for events and conferences in Melbourne and regional Victoria. We take the stress out of event management by ensuring all technical production elements, for any size event, run seamlessly. We have successfully served our clients, delivering memorable live events, for more than fifteen years.

About the role

The Role of Audio Visual Technician is an important position within the company as you will be face to face with the customers daily, representing the company.

The role involves meet and greets at our 5-star Venues on the Mornington Peninsula. This role is mainly based at our Cape Schanck site.

You will be required to deliver, set up and operate AV equipment at the venue for seminars, conferences and events.

Day to day tasks involve setting up basic board meetings through to operating high-end technical events and conferences.

Availability Day’s, Evenings, Weekends and Public holidays are essential.

Skills and experience

Essential Requirements Include

  • Proven experience in the Corporate AV industry.
  • Be well presented for the Corporate Audio -Visual Environment
  • Intermediate use of MS Suite and Computers.
  • Hold a current Victorian drivers licence.
  • Be able to perform your role autonomously.
  • Have Australian working rights.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with Audio and Vision equipment.
  • Hold a current elevated work platform ticket (Under 11m)
  • Experience with Lighting.
  • Experience with Visio and CAD drawing programs.
  • Ability to start immediately.

Position is located on the Mornington Peninsula
