Our AV and ICT Support technicians are pivotal to Tara’s successful delivery of its commitment to excellence within the School’s realm of community Events, Performing Arts, Music and Chaplaincy. Our technicians work collaboratively with staff, students, and broader community members to ensure the reliable and consistent provisioning of technology and AV requirements throughout the School.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the successful planning and execution of School events to a level of excellence
- Collaborate with performing arts, music and chaplaincy staff to ensure the enhanced provisioning of audio and visual (AV) requirements
- Maintain the School’s AV equipment inventory
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the safe storage, routine maintenance (tag and testing) and stock take of AV equipment
- Support staff and students in their knowledge of appropriate and proper use (including training, as needed) of AV equipment
- Manage the AV helpdesk tickets ensuring appropriate and timely responses
- Support the broader ICT team, as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Certificate III in Live Production and Services (or willingness to obtain) or equivalent (essential)
- Demonstrated experience working in an AV support role (preferably within an education setting)
- Sound technical skills – Microsoft suite, Azure, Entra AD, etc
- Sound hardware and application skills – CommBox, Epson projectors, Onyx Lighting, Microphones, Digital Audio mixing desks, etc
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to follow directions, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- A collaborative spirit and willingness to engage in the broader life of the School, including extracurricular activities and events aligned with our Christian ethos
