About the Role
In the role of Audio-Visual Technician, you will support our large and complex audio-visual infrastructure including the installation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment in classrooms and other spaces to ensure that all stakeholders have first-rate equipment at their disposal to deliver the school’s curriculum and to provide facilities for events. The role will have an exciting and vital role working on the new Auditorium which is due to be completed at the end of June 2022.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card or the ability to obtain one
- Proven ability to maintain IT and audio-visual technologies in a structured, enterprise environment, with experience monitoring and trouble-shooting complex audio-visual platforms
- Demonstrated hands-on audio-visual engineering experience with a sound understanding of audio-visual protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear and accurate communications that are appropriate for their intended audience
- Proven capability to work positively and effectively as part of a collaborative work team, to accommodate and work well with different working styles, and to work independently where required
- Demonstrated ability to organise and plan, and meet rigid and conflicting demands and deadlines, along with the ability to adapt to changed priorities.
