Audio Visual Technician

An exciting opportunity to work within the Crown Sydney Maintenance Department in the position of Audio Visual (AV) Technician has become available. In this role, you will be working in a multi-skilled position within a team of Electricians, Plumber/Mechanical Fitters and Electronics/Gaming Technicians. You will be responsible for bump in and out for events, ongoing maintenance and repairs of AV equipment and related technology, Gaming, Hotel, Featured lighting, assets and other building infrastructure at Crown.

To be successful for this role you will have a passion for AV and lighting systems and enjoy being challenged to think outside of the box to fault find and fix faults. You will have a strong attention to detail as you contribute to the smooth operation of the Crown facilities.  

Key Selection Criteria:

  • AVIXA CTS Qualification (Certified Technology Specialist – desirable)
  • Certificate IV Qualifications or higher or equivalent technical qualification in related trade field
  • Crestron & QSC Certifications & Training is preferred
  • Extensive experience setting up and operating AV & lighting systems for Live Production and Events
  • Commercial AV Integrator installation experience
  • Cabling Licence with an understanding of AS/ACIF S009:2006
  • OHS General Induction Construction White card in NSW & EWP License is an advantage
  • Experience in a maintenance technician role and providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work over a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Able to obtain a Casino Special Employee Licence
  • You must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work on site at Crown
