Audio Visual Technician

Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College is an independent school for girls in years 7 – 12. Established in 1875 by the Sisters of Mercy, Monte has a proud tradition of commitment to the Catholic faith, academic achievement and cultural endeavour. An exciting opportunity has become available for an Audio Visual Technician to join the College. Based in iAssist (Help Desk) this role provides support for Audio Visual and ICT to staff, students and the broader College community. A passion for customer service and a high level of attention to detail are essential skills required for this role.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a client facing role with the opportunity to build a personal brand and reputation based on strong customer service.

Must have:

  • A supportive and friendly approach towards customer service
  • A willingness to investigate and learn
  • Strong work ethic
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks individually where required
  • Experience with Q-SYS, Crestron or similar AV automation systems
  • Knowledge of Audio Visual systems in an educational context

This is a full time position based around a 35 hour week. In order to meet the requirements of this role, the flexibility to work out of normal business hours is required to support College events, productions and functions.
