Position Requirements include:
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in the AV (preferred), data, electrical or telecommunications industry.
- Read and interpret Schematics, Specifications, Elevations, floor plans and functional briefs.
- Assist the site supervisor in leading the installation of the audiovisual systems.
- Comply with the high-quality standards that The AVIT Groups clients have come to expect from.
- Show a willingness to persevere and see projects to a successful conclusion.
- Terminate and label cabling to company standards.
- Install mechanical supports for equipment such as wall brackets and ceiling supports in a safe and visually appealing manner.
- The ability to work independently, and work with minimum supervision.
- Be happy to work in a team environment or autonomously.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to our subordinate staff.
- Work to OHS standards and have the ability to identify and manage health and safety risks.
- Have a current Australian drivers license and white card.
- Travel interstate and to regional and remote sites.
