Opening in December 2016, International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is destined to be the premier business and cultural events precinct in the Asia Pacific region, showcasing Sydney to the world through its convention, exhibition and entertainment centre.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Audio Visual Project Manager. This role will act as a vital team member within our Audio Visual division, as we prepare to open and manage a $1.5 billion development that will transform the Darling Harbour precinct. The project manager will take part in a unique opportunity to play a part in building the brand of Australia’s most important business and entertainment events precinct.
Responsibilities;
- Working closely with the Event Planning and Event Production Services teams to provide technical information and pricing of all lighting, sound and audio visual technical requirements for entertainment performances and other general production requirements of ICC Sydney.
- Working closely promoters, artist management, crew and entertainment suppliers to ensure the provision of contract requirements in relation to production are adhered to and operational at all times.
- Manage all AV production requests from various departments and where required organise hire of equipment from suppliers.
- Provide written quotations to various departments for equipment and labour supplied to meet production specifications, ensure these costs are recouped monthly.
The Successful Candidate:
Will bring their experience in Audio Visual technical account management for event delivery from within the Audio Visual events or hospitality industry. With strong proposal management skills in pricing of all lighting, sound and audio visual technical requirements and prior experience in stakeholder networking and management within live entertainment, events or hospitality.

To succeed, you will have a passion for getting results, be resilient with strong customer service and communication skills and be able to establish good working relationships.
