We have multiple fantastic opportunities for casual Event Network and Communications Technicians to join our high performing team. We are seeking committed and proactive technicians ideally experienced in networking and communications to join our Technical Services team on a casual basis.

You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all event I.T services are delivered to the highest possible standard. This includes but not limited to internet lines, IP phones, PSTN and Analogue phone services, 2 way Radios, Wi-Fi’s services, Printers, Layer 2 networking devices, IP TVs, Peripherals
- Setup small to large networks to event specifications
- Work with the Audio Visual and Multimedia departments to deploy events
- Provide support to clients ensuring faults are rectified effectively and efficiently, minimising service disruptions
You
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
- Show initiative and be proactive with a high attention to detail
- Have a good understanding of IP networks and VLANS
- Excellent trouble shooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- Have an elevated Work Platform License
- Construction Induction Certification (white card)
Desirable
- CCNA, CompTIA network+ or equivalent
- Open Cable licence
- Audio Visual experience
- Experience with switch and router configurations
Shifts are allocated across a 7-day week and are event dependent. Successful applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Check
