Audio Visual Manager, Uluru

Dreamedia Events is seeking Expressions of interest for the AV managers position at Uluru. This is a unique opportunity. You will be provided with a work vehicle, and we will also subsidise your rental costs. You will be living onsite at Uluru and managing all the AV requirements at all the properties at Yulara.

This is an important position in our company and the successful Audio Visual Technician needs to enjoy customer service, technical excellence and enjoy the challenges of working in a remote location managing numerous hotel locations and AV staff.  

Our Company

Dreamedia supplies production equipment to Northern Territory we are approx. 35 people strong that enjoy delivering events beyond the client’s expectation. We are looking for a passionate person who has a great sense of pride in their work. The successful applicant must have high standards of audio, vision, lighting, staging, design and creativity. Our team works all over the NT and the successful applicant will enjoy festivals, travel around the NT and deliver corporate AV services to all the key properties at Uluru.  

The essential criteria to be successful in this position is a minimum of 3 years of experience in this technical role. You must have a driver’s license. A forklift, truck license or riggers tickets are a significant bonus. There is no greater reward than working on some of these outback events.

Areas that you will be working in are:

Corporate Gala Dinners and Large Corporate events
Small and Large outdoor concerts
Festivals both in Darwin and remote outback
Live sporting Video production
Product Launches
Opportunities to work in the remote outback for Corporate events
Small and Large Conference Environments (Audio, Vision and Lighting)

The Position

Dreamedia Events is looking for talented, motivated and experienced Individual to lead the team that will include:

  • Setup and operation of audio visual, staging and venue equipment
  • Scheduling, rostering, equipment maintenance and safety.
  • Managing clients that fly out to Uluru for their events.
  • Work with our key Client, Voyages Hotel.

To be successful in this role you will also be a team player who encourages and supports others and has:

  • Experience working in Audio, Vision, Lighting, Staging or Rigging
  • Exposure to the corporate AV industry
  • Involvement with large-scale production setup and operation
  • Online event technology

The role offers the chance to work at the centre of the business events community.
