Audio Visual Installation Technician – full time position

Specialising in fully integrated spaces, we have inhouse expertise in various programming platforms for control and automation.

A bit about the role…

An immediate opportunity exists for a motivated, capable and experienced AV Installation Technician. We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated and flexible with excellent customer service skills.

The role of AV Installation Technician is an integral part of the EET Team. Primarily, the role involves installation, integration, support and maintenance of audio visual equipment across EET’s customer base.

A typical day for you may include… 

  • AV equipment installation
  • Systems integration
  • Site visits, fault finding and reporting
  • Video conference setup and support
  • Client & office communication
  • Automation & control programming
  • Maintaining and updating job documentation

More about what you need to bring…

  • High level of technical competency in audio, lighting and vision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Taking pride in high standards of installation work and general tidiness
  • Experience in automation & control programming, specialising in Crestron is desirable
  • Open, manual driver’s license
  • Cabling tickets – i.e. open cablers
  • EWP and Rigging Ticket would be beneficial
  • Ability and willingness to work at heights
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Physical and mental stamina to perform in high pressure situations
  • Current OHS White Card
  • A sound understanding of project requirements and documentation
