Whilst the main focus of the role is the installation of the audiovisual, sound and lighting components of our projects, you must be willing to multi-task and be proactive in approaching the various tasks at hand.
Typical responsibilities include;
- Read and interpret design documentation including schematics.
- Installation of various audiovisual, lighting and sound equipment.
- Rough-in and cable pulling.
- Fit off and termination (soldering) of audiovisual cabling (CatCable, Ethernet).
- Fault finding.
- Commissioning and testing.
This role includes extensive travel (COVID-19 restrictions permitting).
A current driver’s licence and Construction General Induction (White Card) is a must. As our projects are on construction sites, COVID-19 vaccination is required as per NSW Health Orders.
To be successful in this role, applicants should have proven experience in a similar role or hands-on industry experience.
Demonstrated ability to self organise and multitask as required.
Practical and working knowledge of theatre and entertainment systems, technology and integration.
Demonstrated and practical approach to problem-solving and fault finding.
