HME Services Pty Ltd is an industry leader in providing engineered solutions to the entertainment world. Our “one-stop shop” business philosophy means we work on interesting and prestigious projects throughout Australia. We are looking to grow our NSW team with experienced Audio Visual Technicians.
Whilst the main focus of the role is the installation of the audiovisual, sound and lighting components of our projects, you must be willing to multi-task and be proactive in approaching the various tasks at hand.
Typical responsibilities include;
- Read and interpret design documentation including schematics.
- Installation of various audiovisual, lighting and sound equipment.
- Rough-in and cable pulling.
- Fit off and termination (soldering) of audiovisual cabling (CatCable, Ethernet).
- Fault finding.
- Commissioning and testing.
This role includes extensive travel (COVID-19 restrictions permitting).
A current driver’s licence and Construction General Induction (White Card) is a must. As our projects are on construction sites, COVID-19 vaccination is required as per NSW Health Orders.
To be successful in this role, applicants should have proven experience in a similar role or hands-on industry experience.
Demonstrated ability to self organise and multitask as required.
Practical and working knowledge of theatre and entertainment systems, technology and integration.
Demonstrated and practical approach to problem-solving and fault finding.
