About the role:
We are looking for dynamic and passionate Audio Technicians to join our world-class Audio Visual Department here at ICC Sydney. As an experienced AV Technician, you will join our fast-paced team and work across our three state-of-the-art buildings including our Convention, Exhibition & Theatre. No two days will be the same and you will be instrumental in supporting our extraordinary events come to life. Key responsibilities include:
- Install, operate, monitor and maintain AV production across all AV applications property wide;
- Lead AV teams on the floor to provide high quality service for all contracted events at ICC;
- Build and manage point source and line array systems;
- Using d&b ArrayCalc, R1 and Shure WWB software to manage systems;
- In-depth understanding of AoIP and control protocols e.g. Dante and QSYS;
- Build and manage show communication systems;
- Program and operate audio consoles; Digico, A&H and Yamaha.
About you:
- Minimum of 5 years working as a technician or similar;
- Knowledge and experience within Corporate AV and the live entertainment industry;
- Able to work autonomously while supervising and guiding others;
- Specialist knowledge in Audio, with general knowledge across Visual, Lighting, Rigging and Staging;
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
