VJAM is on the hunt for an Audio superstar to join our team. The role will include planning, setting up, operating, and packing down small to large audio systems for a multitude of events. When we’re not working with our clients on their events, you can find us in the warehouse, maintaining equipment, preparing shows and furthering our skills to provide our clients cutting-edge solutions.
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
- Comprehensive skills and experience (minimum 5 years) in professional audio services.
- Good working knowledge of audio equipment including but not limited to:
- Signal flow, network setup and distribution
- Large-scale Line Array audio systems
- Large-scale distributed audio systems
- Arraycalc, Smaart and other market-leading audio software
- Audio system maintenance and basic repairs
- System fault finding
- Operation of Avid and Digico Audio consoles
- Experience operating large sound systems (FOH and Monitors)
- Experience in executing medium-to-high-scale corporate projects.
- Experience working with touring shows and engineers/TM’s.
- Excellent customer service tactics and communication skills to assist and advise clients on operation of Audio Visual equipment.
- Self-driven individual who can work productively and lead a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- High standard of personal presentation.
