About the Perth Theatre Trust

The Perth Theatre Trust (the Trust) is a statutory authority established and constituted under the Perth Theatre Trust Act 1979 to oversee the management and operation of theatres vested or leased to the Trust by the State Government.

The Trust is responsible for the care, control, management, maintenance, operation and improvement of theatres under its control which currently includes the Albany Entertainment Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre, Subiaco Arts Centre and the State Theatre Centre of WA.

About the role

The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries are seeking to establish a pool of Staging Supervisors at the Perth Theatre Trust for appointments to fixed term, full-time vacancies. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made as vacancies arise over the next four months from the initial date of appointment from this pool.

This Audio Supervisor Albany Entertainment Centre (AEC) will undertake a key role in the programming and operation of audio consoles and assist with the installation of other technical equipment and small building maintenance as directed by the Technical Manager AEC. The Audio Supervisor AEC will work across productions, functions, and events.

This position will be for an initial fixed term period to 31 December 2021.

Conditions

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.

For temporary (fixed-term or casual) positions, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Location

This role is based at the Albany Entertainment Centre, 2 Toll Pl, Albany.
