Audio Operators and Technicians

About the Role:

Due to an increase in work volumes, ICC Sydney is looking for talented and motivated Audio Operators and Technicians to work within our Audio team on a casual basis. You will be working across the entire site at ICC Sydney, including three Theatres, two Ballrooms, over fifty meeting rooms and over 35,000sqm of exhibition floor space. With a large range of new equipment and some great spaces to work in – no two days are the same!

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Building audio systems
  • Tuning PA’s
  • Interpreting audio signal flow schematics
  • Operating audio equipment for high-end corporate and live entertainment events
  • Programming digital consoles

About You:

The key to success in this dynamic environment will be your ability to be a team player, possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a professional, fast-paced environment. In addition to this we are looking for client-focused Audio Operators and Technicians with experience in the following:

  • FOH, Monitors and System Techs
  • Digico and Allen & Heath work flows desirable
  • Familiarity with D&B systems advantageous
  • Shure wireless systems
  • 2 years of operator experience with digital consoles
  • General understanding of set up/pack down procedures for audio systems
  • Virtual and Hybrid event experience
