2021 has been an incredible year for Genesis Owusu – the extraordinary artist who was nominated for seven ARIA awards and walked away with four.
In celebration of his mammoth year, the talented musician was featured on “The Sound” TV program on ABC, parts of which were shot in The Fitters Workshop in Canberra. Elite Event Technology was appointed to provide lighting, audio and multitrack recording for their client Mushroom Creative House, in order to create a live video clip for Owusu, which featured 32 Astera AX1 tubes.
“We love working with young Australian artists and always appreciate witnessing the success stories of those who grew up in Canberra,” comments Darren Russell, MD of EET.
Astera AX1 tubes were used as the main feature lighting for the video clip. They were placed around the singer and his backup dancers and dancers also incorporated them into their choreography.
“We take pride in creating unique designs for all our creative productions, no matter how small or large they are. With Astera and all the smart accessories, their fixtures come with, you really have endless options to incorporate lighting into your show. Whether you use them as a light source or eye candy, they are extremely versatile and really straightforward to operate and control,” explains Darren.
