$36.12 per hour (LGIA Stream B Major Venues Level 2 + 30% loading) + Superannuation
Location – Rockhampton
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for installation and maintenance of technical, exhibition and event equipment, to ensure artists, performers, hirers and presenters can bring their creative vision to life.
You will work across a range of cultural and event-based venues within the region, with weekend and after-hours work required. There will also be an opportunity to work overtime on an as needs basis in this position.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Construction Industry Induction (White Card), Elevated Work Platform Licence, High Risk Forklift Licence (LF), Working with children (Blue Card)
Ability to carry out your duties in a safe manner whilst ensuring the safety of your team members and public.

Application Criteria
Professional sound, lighting and audio visual experience and/or interest in live production and/or theatre and/or visual arts environment.
Experience in installation and maintenance of exhibition related construction and technical equipment
Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers and other key stakeholders.
Team player and ability to think on your feet and problem solve within a high pressure environment.
