Armor Cases Releases New Road Case for Allen & Heath dLive S3000

Armor Cases, a Sydney-based manufacturer of protective transport solutions, has released a new road case specifically designed for the Allen & Heath dLive S3000 mixing console. Known for its focus on functional design and durability, Armor Cases caters to the demands of professional users in live events, concert touring, theatre production, and AV installation sectors.

This new case is built around a lift-off lid configuration, allowing the S3000 console to remain seated inside the base section during operation. The design ensures the console is always ready for use while minimizing handling and setup time. Users can simply remove the lid and begin work, making it ideal for fast-paced environments where time efficiency is critical.

To keep the console securely in place, the case includes a custom EVA foam insert on the inside of the lid that follows the exact contour of the S3000 console. This ensures proper support and stability during transport, reducing movement and protecting the console from potential impact.

The case is constructed from 12mm birch veneer plywood and fitted with Penn Elcom hardware. These materials are selected for their strength and reliability, offering extended service life and dependable protection in harsh touring conditions. Every detail of the case was carefully engineered to deliver a precise and professional finish, in line with Armor Cases’ commitment to high build standards.

Integrated into the design is a general-purpose storage compartment located beneath the console. This space accommodates cables and accessories, ensuring they remain organized and readily accessible. A key feature of this case is the inclusion of a built-in dog box, positioned at the rear of the console. This component provides improved cable management and protection for rear-panel I/O ports. It allows cables to remain connected even while the console is stored or transported, reducing wear on connectors and significantly speeding up deployment. The dog box also contributes to a cleaner, more streamlined rear presentation when in use.

Mobility is addressed with four heavy-duty castors, with two featuring brakes and two without, allowing for safe and easy handling during transport

This road case is designed for audio professionals who rely on robust, tour-ready equipment. It reflects Armor Cases’ ongoing mission to support production companies, venues, and freelancers with thoughtful, quality-driven solutions.
