Francesco Calvi, one of the leading TV lighting designers in Australia, has been working hard behind the screens on the set of Australian reality TV series Big Brother.
Calvi is using ArKaos Media Master Pro 2 software to run the content across the stealth screens around the audience and to pixel map the LED panels which are positioned at the back of the studio. “This allows me to trigger all the changing background together and create original visuals for the live shows”, he explains.
The purpose built house, where the housemates temporarily live and are being watched by Big Brother’s ubiquitous Eye 24/7, is located at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, Australia, as well as the full TV studio, where all the live shows are broadcasted from. Sonia Kruger took the role of show host again this year with Mike Goldman continuing as narrator.
The Show is broadcasted by Nine Network and it continues to receive high TV ratings throughout the whole series.
