Arena AV sold on Martin RUSH MH 7 Hybrids

arena1Wollongong’s Arena AV has taken delivery of eight of the new Martin RUSH MH7 Hybrid, an all-in-one beam, spot and wash moving head fixture. Arena AV provide technical equipment and solutions to a host of venues and industries including WIN Entertainment Centre, WIN Stadium and Sage Wollongong.

“We were really attracted to the versatility of the RUSH MH7 Hybrid which means real bang for your buck,” said Sean Keaveny, managing director of Arena AV. “Although they are a new fixture I had already heard many good things about them. Vince Haddad at Show Technology gave me a thorough demonstration of the fixture and to be honest, the fixture sold itself.”

The RUSH MH 7 Hybrid features include crisp optics with three zoom modes: 2.2°–15° in beam mode, 2.5°–24° in spot mode and 15°–45° in wash mode. High output is achieved from the Philips Platinum 11R 250W 7800 K lamp with eight rotating/ indexing and 12 static gobos. There are 10 selectable colours and effects via an eight-facet circular and four-facet linear prism.

Arena AV also added 24 x ShowPro LED PAR Hex 18 IP65 to their inventory, again chosen for their flexibility.

“I had seen them in operation on a few gigs and was very impressed,” commented Sean. “They’re a multipurpose light that I can use for stage wash or dinner wash for corporate jobs. They also have an IP65 rating which is good for when we have to do outdoors jobs in WIN Stadium.”
