The ULA Group – manufacturer and an exclusive distributor of world leading architectural – entertainment lighting and visual LED Media products, is seeking to employ an experienced professional with a proven sales performance, to fulfil the role of Architectural & Project Lighting Sales Representative, based at our Port Melbourne office.
Your responsibilities
- Dynamic and interactive product presentations to Lighting Consultants and Electrical Engineering representatives
- Maintain and develop current client relationships, with a view to strategically plan opportunities to entice new business
- Prepare quotes and submit professionally produced tenders for specified lighting product
- Regular domestic travel to actively participate at various trade shows, corporate industry events, inclusive of business development and professional seminars
- Onsite product demonstrations with a view to closing the sale
- Total responsibility for all aspects of the customer experience, which includes, but not limited to, provision of the entire customer order, administered and operational, personally and professionally, concluding with the final handover of goods to the client
The ideal candidate will demonstrate
- Proven track record of sales in the architectural and commercial lighting industry
- Functional knowledge of architectural lighting applications and LED based lighting products
- Capable of operating and demonstrating DMX controlled Lighting solutions
- Proven ability to navigate the specification process of tenders
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Optimum time management skills
- Effectively monitor and prioritize your work schedule
- Superior customer service and account management skills
- Ability to operate both autonomously and within a team driven environment
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to use MS Office, CAD experience will be an advantage
Based at the ULA Group Port Melbourne Office (VIC), the successful candidate will be an integral part of the sales team. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience – a company vehicle is included.
