Alto Professional has announced the launch of the new TX4 Series of powered loudspeakers and subwoofers designed for live sound, DJ, musician and business applications.
“The TX4 Series is the culmination of Alto Professional’s commitment to creating reliable, high-quality audio solutions for professionals at every level,” says John Boudreau, director of product management at Alto Professional. “Whether it’s a mobile DJ set, a gig or rehearsal, or a restaurant installation, the TX4 Series is designed to deliver powerful performance, unmatched versatility, and ease of use for any situation.”
With dispersion of 90 by 60 degrees, TX4 loudspeakers incorporate onboard class D amplification stated to deliver up to 700 watts peak. Also onboard is a two-channel mixer for mic, line-level, and Bluetooth 5.0 streaming inputs. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) links multiple loudspeakers, or, they can be linked via the mix output.
In addition, there’s a standard pole socket and monitor angle configurations. A battery-powered option, the TX412B is stated to offer up to 10 hours of performance.
Meanwhile, the TX12S and TX18S subwoofers offer DSP-based EQ controls and selectable low-pass filters. They’re driven by an onboard class D amplifier stated to deliver 900 watts. There are also live EQ voicings to tailor response for different applications. There’s also a polarity reverse switch. I/O includes dual XLR + 1/4-inch combo inputs and two balanced XLR outputs.
