Altman Lighting introduces the new Chalice 200 Pendant (also called the CDP 200), an evolution of the Hydra Par (AIP-200). Retaining all the admired features of its predecessor, the CDP 200 stands out with its elegant pendant-style housing and an indoor IP20 rating, making it a versatile addition to any setting, the company says.
Featuring RGBL colour mixing technology, the Chalice CDP 200 delivers exceptional whites with Kelvin temperatures ranging from 2,700K to 10,000K, the company says. It also offers a spectrum of saturated and pastel colours to enhance any visual presentation. Additionally, the fixture includes motorized zoom capabilities that range from 6.5° to 50°. This feature eliminates the need for multiple reflectors, allowing for on-site adjustments and secure locking of zoom settings. The Patented Zoom Lock feature can also be remotely disabled from the console, providing flexibility during performances.
Chalice CDP 200 mounting options include pendant, aircraft cable, wall and yoke mount; with DMX and RDM Control.
“At 71 years young, Altman continues to bring imagination to light in 2024,” says Bill Groener, COO for Altman Lighting, “by offering new innovations to one of our most popular and time-tested products. Our Chalice LED Series is the most versatile and easy to integrate downlight solution available today and the new lime chip technology of the Chalice CDP 200, makes it even more useful and simple to use.”
The Chalice CDP 200 is a compact 200W RGBL IP20 rated & convection cooled zoom fixture that is packed with a high feature set at an affordable price. The silent, compact luminaire features a powerful lumen output with a wide zoom range. The motorized zoom produces a beam spread between 6.5° and 50° with built-in stops at five different set points ensuring precise beam spread repeatability. Altman is taking orders now for the CDP200, with product ready to ship beginning of Q4, 2024.
