For the first time in her career Britney Spears is touring Australia. “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” is a first of its kind, incorporating a dazzling display of music, dance, magic and theatrics into the year’s biggest spectacle. With its cast of nearly 50 dancers, magicians, clowns and acrobats and a traveling staff of over 200, the 50 million dollar extravaganza will travel Australia with an unprecedented 60 tons of equipment in 34 trucks for what is sure to be an electrifying musical event.
Lighting designer Nick Whitehouse (Kylie, Justin Timberlake) is the man behind the console and he has kindly agreed to conduct two ALIA tours: one in Perth and one in Sydney.
His rig includes: 80 x Vari*Lite VL3000 Spot, 60 x Vari*Lite VL3500 Wash, 16 x Vari*Lite VL5, 18 x PRG Bad Boy Spot, 48 x Martin Atomic Strobe and Scroller, 2 x Robert Juliat 4k FOH Spot, 8 x Robert Juliat Ivanhoe, 47 x ColorKinetics CB12 TR, 16 x ColorKinetics ColorBlaze., 8 x 4 Lite DWE Strip, 32 x Custom DWE 4 Bank Moles. Control is by the new PRG V676 console.
