The wait for fans of The Police is officially over. Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers have confirmed they will be spending the summer downunder with stadium concerts scheduled in Australia in 2008. The Police tour is definitely the hottest ticket of the year.
Lighting director Danny Nolan has kindly agreed to conduct a tour of the Patrick Woodroffe designed lighting for the Adelaide show on Tuesday January 29th at the Entertainment Centre. The rig includes Coemar Infinity Wash x 57, Atomic Strobe x 08, Maxi 12 x 08, 5K Beam Projector x 03, 8-lite Mole + scroll x 09, Par 64 NSP x 72, Robe 2500 Spot x 29, 2-lite Mole x 24, Little Big Lite x 18, Mac 700 x 18, Mac 250 Wash x 11, DL2 Projector x 04, 2000 Mac 2000 wash x 40, Pixel Par x 06, Omni floods x 04 with control by MA Lighting grandMA.
