The world-premiere stage musical adaptation of Muriel’s Wedding, based on the 1994 Australian film comedy that starred Toni Collette, officially opened November 18 at the Sydney Theatre Company.
Presented by the Sydney Theatre Company and Global Creatures, Muriel’s Wedding The Musical is an updated theatrical adaptation by original screenwriter P.J. Hogan. The musical’s score incorporates ABBA pop hits alongside original songs by Kate Miller-Heidke and Keir Nuttall.
Lighting design is by Trent Suidgeest who, along with Andrew Tompkins venue head LX, has kindly agreed to conduct a tour of his design for ALIA.

Various addressable RGB LED Tape and Festoon. There are also many wirelessly controlled set and furniture elements plus a custom fibre optic star cloth. Control is an ETC EOS Ti.
