This year’s Mardi Gras party promises to be bigger, sparklier and more fabulous than ever! With Kylie Minogue confirmed as the main act you can expect 15,000 or more at this iconic dance party with thousands flying in from around Australia and overseas. Held after Parade on March 3rd, Mardi Gras Party is a ten hour party spanning five huge venues. 2012 will see the Entertainment Quarter transformed into a theme park – Mardigrasland – promising an adventurous and sexy ride through a night of music, dance and electrifying acts including Kylie Minogue, Sam Sparro,  RuPaul, D.E. Experience, Sneaky Sound System, Chicane and Horse Meat Disco.

Partygoers can expect to be taken on an experiential trip through Mardigrasland, a place with many different themed ‘lands’, each with their own unique flavour – as well as being entertained by superstar Australian and international performers and DJs.

The rig is huge with plenty of toys including PRG Bad Boys, PRG MBox Media Servers, GrandMA Series 1 and 2 consoles, Kinesys Automation, etc. Lighting designer for the event Richard Neville and Producer Brad Wright have kindly agreed to conduct a tour of the mammoth rig the day before the party.
