She’s played three NSW shows and everyone is raving about the production so a backstage lighting tour has hastily been arranged for lucky Melbourne lighting folk!
“Last year, Sydney got its first taste of the Lady Gaga live experience. There were elaborate backdrops, crisply choreographed dance routines and enough risque outfits to make even Madonna, Gaga’s spiritual grandma, blush.
And that was just for a handful of songs opening for the Pussycat Dolls.
She’s back, as promised, with a show that makes that brief but thrilling set look tame.
The Monster Ball – as this tour has been dubbed in support of Gaga’s album, The Fame Monster EP – is a four-act concept show apparently about a quest to get to the ultimate party. At times it feels like a rave hosted by Satan himself.

The show is designed by the legendary LeRoy Bennett and directed by Cory FitzGerald. Cory is using a rig that includes PRG bad boys, VL3000 spots, VL3500 washes, GLP Impressions, Martin Atomic strobes and Hungaroflash t-lights.
