Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour, created and designed by Baz Halpin, has reached Australia. When it came to production, staging and costume design this is a show where more is most definitely more! It’s a candy-coloured visual extravaganza with a prism shaped stage, mechanical horse, neon clad dancers, fireworks ………
The lighting rig includes 2 x VL3015, 92 x VL3500 Wash FX, 20 x VL3515, 64 x Martin MAC Viper Air FX, 62 x Clay Paky Sharpy, 36 x Sharpy Wash, 39 x GLP X4, 26 x Solaris Strobes, 68 x Chroma-Q Colorblock DB-4, 15 x 20 watt RGB lasers, 9 x DF50s and 4 x F100s. Control is by a grandMA2.
Drew Gnagey is acting as lighting director and has kindly agreed to conduct a tour of the rig in Brisbane.
