ADJ Lighting announces the release of the Hexcon L, a next-generation hardware lighting controller designed to give lighting professionals intuitive, reliable, and flexible control over ADJ’s HEX Series RGBAL+UV and RGBWA+UV LED fixtures. Building on the success of the original Hexcon, the new Hexcon L adds enhanced lime-centric features and modern conveniences, making it a control solution for both permanent installations and live event productions.
The Hexcon L provides 36 channels of DMX control, enabling independent operation of up to six HEX Series fixtures. With 24 pre-programmed colour macro buttons and six user-programmable preset buttons, the unit allows operators to quickly access a wide range of colours and custom looks. Multi-function faders provide real-time control over red, green, blue, amber, lime and UV intensities, while dedicated controls for chase speed, fade time, master dimmer, and strobe effects allow for smooth, on-the-fly adjustments. Additionally, there are 24 quick cue colour macro buttons, along with 6 white colour temperature preset buttons (2,300K, 2,700K, 3,200K, 4,000K, 5,600K and 6,000K).
Versatility is at the core of the Hexcon L. The controller offers multiple operation modes — including Color Fade, Color Macro, Auto Run, Chase, Manual, Sound-Active, Strobe, Preset, and Blackout — empowering users to adapt easily to any event or performance environment. From subtle mood lighting to high-energy chase sequences, Hexcon L ensures that lighting operators can achieve the desired look with minimal effort. And, a new feature that sets the Hexcon L apart is its integrated USB charging port, which allows users to keep their phone or tablet powered during events.
