Adelaide Fringe Event Crew required

Adelaide Fringe, one of the biggest and most popular arts events in Australia, is seeking an Event Crew.

An annual open-access arts festival run over four weeks in Adelaide, South Australia during February and March, thousands of artists from around Australia and across the globe participate alongside home-grown talent. Art forms spanning cabaret, comedy, circus & physical theatre, dance, film, theatre, music, visual art and design comprise the program for the festival.

Under the direction of the Production Logistics Coordinator and Production Coordinators the Event Crew will provide production support and expertise to ensure the successful delivery of all Adelaide Fringe produced events, activities, programs and venues

Key responsibilities include:

Under the direction of the Production Logistics Coordinator & Production Coordinators, providing production support to Adelaide Fringe produced events, activities, programs and venues.

Providing technical support to help deliver Adelaide Fringe produced events; including operation of sound and lighting equipment and assisting in stage management.

Assisting with the build, bump in and bump out of all Adelaide Fringe sites, including but not limited to Opening Night Parade, Fringe Club, Desert Fringe and Street Theatre Festival.

Understanding and complying with all Adelaide Fringe policies and procedures, ensuring all safety regulations are followed and safe working practices are observed.

Essential experience:

Demonstrated professional experience, knowledge and skills in production for performing arts or major events and festivals.

Proven professional experience in a technical production discipline i.e. lighting, sound, staging, stage management and AV.

Demonstrated experience as production staff and/or crew.

Other accreditation such as White Card, forklift, EWP, first aid, License to perform high risk work, Truck (MR/HR) Licence and fire warden training will be looked upon favourably.
