Account Manager – South Australia

About the Company

Jands Pty Ltd is one of Australia’s largest distributors and manufacturers of professional audio, lighting and staging products. With an impressive portfolio of quality international and local brands, and rapidly growing business in the region, Jands is now looking for an experienced Account Manager to grow the sales of Jands branded and distributed products throughout South Australia. The role will report directly to the National Sales Manager – Southern Region and the successful candidate will be an integral part of the Sales team.

Jands does not currently have an office in South Australia. Hence, this is a mobile working role and the ability to be self-motivated, work autonomously and hold yourself to account is vital in this role.

About the Role

Key duties and responsibilities of the Account Manager include (but are not limited to):

Maintaining the existing client dealer base;

Identifying, evaluating and acquiring new business;

Entering and maintaining information within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system;

Maintaining professional and technical knowledge of the Jands distributed product range;

Delivering monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets;

Participating in the planning of sales growth and annual sales targets within South Australia.  

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position applicants must meet the essential criteria listed below.

Minimum 3 years proven Account Management/Sales experience and the ability to achieve sales targets;

Keen interest in professional audio/lighting/staging equipment (ideal).

Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to build relationships, negotiate and communicate (in writing and verbally) with all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external.

Experience using sales/inventory management systems (Pronto-Xi preferred);

Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred);

A current and valid driver’s licence; and,

Applicants should note intra/interstate travel will be required on a quarterly basis.
