The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our tight-knit team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the fast-paced events industry and wants to be at the forefront of the Tasmanian production industry.
You’ll manage client relationships across corporate events, festivals, live music productions, and theatrical performances, with project values ranging from $1,000 to $150,000+.
Key Responsibilities
· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, venues, and festival promoters
· Project Coordination: Oversee events from initial inquiry through to successful delivery, liaising between clients and our technical team
· Sales & Business Development: Identify new opportunities, prepare quotes, and grow our client base across Tasmania
· Event Planning Support: Work with clients to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate sound, lighting, vision, and staging solutions
· Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, particularly for hybrid and video conferencing events
· Account Growth: Develop existing accounts and create package deals that bundle multiple services
· Timeline Management: Coordinate projects ranging from 24-hour turnarounds to week-long complex productions
What We’re Looking For
Essential: –
· Proven experience in account management, sales, or client services (events/production industry highly desirable)
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Understanding of client needs and ability to translate them into technical solutions
· Valid driver’s license
Desirable: –
· Knowledge of event production, AV equipment, or technical services
· Existing relationships within Tasmania’s events, corporate, or hospitality sectors
· Experience with CRM systems and project management tools
· Understanding of sound, lighting, vision, or staging equipment
