AABPS are constantly getting asked by clients and LDs what we have and what’s new.
Like everything, you can tell people what you have, but seeing with their eyes holds more weight.
For this reason, we thought it best to hold an event at our warehouse in Melbourne.

We had a wide range of guests from across different States.
There was great attendance by the local Melbourne LDs and a great cross-section of clients from agencies and the major events sectors.
Our audience is broad as AABPS covers various events, from corporate activations, touring shows, festivals, dance parties, and custom builds on lighting and LED screens.
What we were looking to showcase was:
Our new LED screens in the ROE VST4 touring frame were key for our showcase. This has been a great addition in expansion with our previous LED screens, which were more suited to smaller format shows and events.
Across the summer period, we rolled this out on several shows with great success and feedback.

It was great to show it in a free-standing curved configuration. The limitation for our event was the size of the space we had to work in, so we could only fit an 18 m wide x 4 m high wall, but it definitely held its own in the space.
Another key feature of the display was that the leading moving light used was the Zelda Wash by CKC.
We love these lights; they are an outdoor-rated moving wash beam, 19 x 60RGBW Osram chips. The output is impressive, and they are an absolute workhorse. Hence, we own 40 and are looking to expand our numbers.
Our other goal was to give awareness of a lot of the different brands and fixture types we stock, so our main showpiece featured
- Aryton Perseo
- Aryton Magic panels
- Chauvet Strike Ms
- CKC Zelda Wash
- Martin Aura XIPs
- CKC 350wash Bricks
- GLP Force 120 fans
- Portman fixtures
- Astera Titan Tubes
We would love to have added so many more things, but there is a limit to what you can squeeze in.

The feedback was positive. There were many comments, such as ‘I didn’t know you had that’.
All that came left with some new knowledge of what AABPS can offer.
And who doesn’t love a TACO truck and cocktail bar!
