ResX served as the official lighting partner for this year’s Melbourne International Jazz Festival at Malvern Town Hall, adding our own soulful touch to one of Melbourne’s premier jazz events.
At the core of our setup was the Astra Hybrid 330, a versatile fixture combining beam, wash, and spot capabilities. It effortlessly adapted to the changing moods of each performance, from soft washes for intimate sets to powerful beams for high-energy moments.?
The Astra Hybrid 330 was paired with the ShowPro R2 Wash, both controlled by the grandMA Compact XT for smooth transitions and precise control. With quick response times, vibrant colour mixing, and synchronised movements, these fixtures brought depth and emotion to every set, elevating the festival’s energy with flawless execution.?
