Production Resource Group (PRG) is the world’s leading supplier of entertainment and event technology to a wide range of markets; including concert touring, corporate events, trade shows, special events, theatre, television and film. Specialising in lighting, LED screens, rigging and drapery, PRG supplies its broad range of customers with turnkey solutions delivering complete equipment and crew packages.
PRG is looking for two individuals to join our Operations team, based in Sydney. The positions we are looking to fill are: Senior Technician – a permanent fulltime position and Assistant Technician – full time employment, for a fixed period of 12 months. At the conclusion of 12 month period, PRG may offer further fixed term or ongoing employment. Wages are negotiable based upon experience.

We are looking for individuals who:
Senior Technicians and Assistant Technicians
• Show passion for work in the entertainment Industry
• Can demonstrate active interest relevant in lighting or other relevant area
• Work well as part of a team or as an individual
• Are physically fit
• Are open minded and willing to learn
• Are willing and able to occasionally work outside 9-5 Monday to Friday.
Senior Technicians will also have
• 5+ years’ experience in either Corporate event, concert touring or theatre environment
• To ensure timely installation of system and orderly pull down and load-out
• Follow all PRG and Venue OH&S policy and procedure requirements
• Check system for faults and rectify
• Assist in delivery of formal and informal on the job training
• Competent problem solving skills
• Vectorworks/CAD experience preferred
• Responsible and mature minded outlook
• Able to work to complex instructions
• Capable of stock control
• Adhere to all company policies
