Theatre Technician

$43.48 hourly rate

We are currently seeking Casual Theatre Technicians to join our team based at St Albans Community Centre (STACC) which incorporates the Bowery Theatre.

The role

Reporting to the Venue Operations Senior Officer we are seeking Theatre Technicians who can bring their skills and experience for:

  • Staging, bump in and out of productions, events, and functions.
  • Lighting duties include rigging, focusing, patching, lighting board and operation and associated paperwork.
  • Good working knowledge across all the major technical disciplines – Lighting, Sound, A/V and Staging software and equipment


To be considered you will have:

  • Working Safely at Heights / EWP < 11 m (Yellow Card)
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • Electrical Test and Tag Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR
